Body-based trauma release and retreats in Rotterdam and on Ibiza

Inner Awakening rests on one conviction, which its founder says came from her own life rather than from a book or a training: healing does not begin in the mind, it begins in the body. The practice is based in Rotterdam and on Ibiza, and its site tells visitors which of the two she is currently on. The method starts from an etymology the pages return to. The word emotion comes from the Latin emovere, energy in motion. Emotions that are never fully expressed, the pages argue, settle in the body and later show up as tension in the back, belly or pelvis, as burn-out, low libido or heaviness. The sessions are built to let that energy move again: Kundalini NRGY activation, Talking to the Chakras (TTC), Trauma Release Breathwork (TRB) using consciously connected breath, Body Remembers Trauma Therapy (BRTT) through bodywork, and ancestral womb healing built around a cupping experience. The facilitator describes her role as holding space, not fixing. She works from the idea that every person is whole at their core, and that the work is remembering rather than repairing. The retreats give the practice its physical setting. The ReSet day takes place on an estate just outside Rotterdam, in nature and silence. It is a single day given to self-love, awareness and reflection on the past year, with a vegetarian lunch prepared with care. On Ibiza the format is a four-day, four-night retreat for one or two people, shaped around the individual rather than a standard programme. Mornings are for personal sessions, which can include Kundalini activation, breathwork, chakra healing, bodywork, sound healing, yoga and meditation. Afternoons and evenings are deliberately left free for integration. The days follow the themes of letting go, deepening, integrating and clarity. The Ibiza stay includes a private room with its own bathroom, daily breakfast, and access to the pool, garden, yoga deck and yurt. The pages list the 1:1 retreat at €1,250 and the 1:2 retreat at €1,000 per person, with an optional extra night at €50.
